MeMe's Birthday

It's been a little crazy around the Rooney household. Michael has been in California since Saturday and didn't get home until late last night. And, apparently being in CA is similar to being on another planet because he didn't know ANYTHING about the whole "tomato" ordeal and ate several while he was out there. Sure enough, he is home and sick as a dog - stomach cramps and the whole shabang. If he's not feeling any better tomorrow I will drag him to the doctor myself. Can anyone in blog world explain to me why it is SOOOOOO impossible to get a sick man to suck it up and go to the doctor? It tops the list with a man stopping to ask for directions! Good grief!

However, I must brag a little. He went shopping in Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. He said he saw all the shops, including but not limited to Cartier, Gucci, Armani, etc. He didn't bring home diamonds.... but he did bring home a Coach handbag!! The man ROCKS!! How many men actually go shopping for their wife's handbag? (Especially when it isn't mother's day, birthday, or anniversary. And did I mention he can get one at Brighton at a discount....because my mother is a manager at the store in Southlake....) Major brownie points!!!!

Anyway...after Kate's recital on Saturday we had a surprise birthday party for my Grandmother. She turned 80 years old on Monday. Best looking 80 year old I've seen in a LONG time! And she could probably run circles around the best of us, truth be known. So, here are some pictures from the grand event..

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I am starting to feel little bubbles this week in my stomach and hoping to really feel the baby move in the next few weeks!
All of your pics are so cute and Kate is the sweetest thing ever in her recital! All of your kids are so precious! Proud mommy you must be!! Hope ya'll have a great Father's Day weekend!!
