It's about time.

I feel I owe an apology to all of our family/friends who check this blog regularly because I know its been a waste of time lately. Since coming home from Barbados, its been a little crazy around the Rooney household. The weekend after we got back I went to my annual scrapbook weekend retreat. Three days...with only one concern...my scrapbook. Actually, I started Ethan's baby book. And, since having Ethan this was the first time that all four kiddos were left with their Daddy for three days. So, it took quite a bit more preparation on my part. But believe me, it was well worth it. And Michael really enjoyed the quality time he spent with them.

And on Monday two of Michael's cousins from Barbados came to stay with us for most of the week. So, we've been trying to entertain. We had a great time. We took them to Six Flags, movies, bowling, laser tag, Hibachi and Sushi, and to a Starbucks...to name a few. Oh, and don't you worry. I made sure they visited the best restaurant on the planet! And they really enjoyed it. (Maybe not as much as me and my kids - but they agreed Chick-fil-A was really good. They convinced me I could open one on their island!) Truth be told, they were really impressed with Stuffed Crust pizza from Pizza Hut.

I've also been working up at my church a lot this week because our VBS is next week. So, don't expect many posts next week either. But, everyone is doing well. Enjoying the summer - regretting that it is going by so quickly.
