Jeremiah 29: 11-14

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you."

Weekend Recap

Michael left town Thursday shortly after Mason's surgery. So, we spent most of Friday at home allowing Mason time to recoup. Friday evening was Addison's birthday party at Alley Cats. I fully intended to take Mason and drop him off. However, once we got there Connor and Kate were very upset as to why they couldn't stay for the party. Since Addy is over often, they feel they are her friends just like Mason. Connor said, "Mommy, why weren't we invited? Addison doesn't like us?" Okay, how on earth do you explain to a 4 and 6 year old that Addison likes them...but they aren't her age. They are Mason's little brother and sister...not best buddies...
Anyway, to help mend their little hearts, we stayed at Alley Cats and I got a lane for them to bowl. Can I just brag a moment and tell you that Connor got FOUR strikes on his own! His total score was 110!!!!! I would have taken a picture of the score board; but considering I wasn't expecting to stay, I didn't bring my camera!

On Saturday Aunt Grabbie came over. We rearranged furniture in my living room. It feels much more cozy now. It's a large room, so we brought everything closer together. As Ashley would say it, "We created two conversation areas"...whatever...it just flows better. Then she stayed with Connor and Ethan while Kate and I went to Mason's first football game with the YMCA. They won 14 to 0! GO TIGERS!

Daddy came home in time for dinner. And when he walked in this is what he saw...

Ethan was a little tired from all of the excitement of the day!
We spent the rest of the evening pigging out on pizza and just hanging out...

Ethan has learned to cover his ears when Kate is singing!
We had a wonderful service Sunday morning! After having lunch with Granda and Granddad at Johnny Carino's we headed home for NAPS! (At least Mom, Dad, and Ethan took naps!) Afterwards we went to look at some land. And to top off a great day we thoroughly enjoyed watching THE BOYS!!!!
