Jeremiah 29: 11-14

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you."

Happy Valentine's Day (a day late)

Happy late Valentine's day! We were pretty busy yesterday, so I didn't have time to post. Mason had a basketball game, so my grandparents came to see it. They came over to the house after the game until late afternoon. My parents had the kids over for a little Valentine "get together" complete with Chick-fil-A nuggets and brownies. So, Michael and I took the opportunity to go out for dinner.

We had reservations at P.F. Changs. My mother commented that the choice of restaurants didn't seem very romantic to her. HOWEVER, any dinner with my husband where we are by ourselves...and can have all the adult conversation we choose....without any interrruptions ...is plenty romance for me. I'm sure every mother out there with children...especially under the age of 7 can relate! :) We thought about going to a movie afterwards, but we needed to get the kiddos picked up around eight. So, we went and got Fireproof to watch. It's a good one.
It was a great evening. It made us realize we should really try to get out like that more often. But sitters for four don't come cheap! Usually when we have a sitter it's because we have a meeting at church....or some other function that doens't involve little ones.

In some ways it made us miss the Minolta days...where we got free trips...for a week....together.....And when you came home you felt like a better parent because you just had a week with just your spouce. And after a week you CAN'T WAIT to be with your children again.

Movin on...today I finally finished my last layout from my scrapbook class. It was an AWESOME class. I learned sooooo much and I'm so disappointed that it's over already. Well, here's the last one....a two page spread. Have a great evening with your family. And for those of you interested, tonight is the first new episode of THE AMAZING RACE. WWWWAAAAHHHOOOO!!!!
