So for some time now Michael has really, I mean REALLY, wanted to get some land. We love the area we live in, but he wants enough land that he can do whatever he wants on it...ride four wheelers, ride go carts, ride a horse...etc. He's been looking on the net for quite a while. And this is the decision we are faced with...
#1 We found a house that is very close to the neighborhood we are in now. It has an acre of perfectly landscaped plush yard for the kiddos. It even has a half basketball court, a putting green, and a gazebo with electricity. It is AWESOME! However, we would have to down size on the house...meaning loose one bedroom and the home office. That's a big problem when your husband offices at HOME!! Now there would be plenty of land to build on... but that would have to be approved through the HOA and the city. (Oh - and did I mention that it doesn't allow four wheelers nor horses.....)
#2 We found a subdivision in Midlothian (about 15-20 minutes away) that has a 3 acre lot. AND the lot backs up to a 14 acre green belt. They allow horses and whatever else. However, we would have to change school districts. It would be a completely new city. And this city girl would be moving to the country. The land is affordable but we would also have to custom build a house...sounds exciting...but also costly.
Of course, then we are faced with having to sell the house we have now. We love this house. It's plenty big and everyone has their own room. We just want a bigger yard. The pool takes up almost every bit of back yard we have. So, that's where we've been the past two days - looking at land and trying to decide. I wish God would perform another miracle and put the writing on my wall....(that way Michael and I would see the same thing :)

I am so glad you have a blog now! I just love your little family and kiddos and love hearing all about the daily life! This is such a HUGE decision, but if you don't feel a peace about either of them, something bigger and better is probably going to come your way! My parents live in Midlothian and they love it there, great school district too! Hope ya'll have a great weekend!
