Last night we had the awesome blessing of going to hear John MacArthur. He was speaking at our church and it was really incredible! He gave a message based (on a small version) of his new book: A Tale of Two Sons. We were able to get a signed copy and I can't WAIT to dig in! I would really encourage all of you to grab one! It also comes with a study guide (both available at Mardels). I would like to hear comments from those of you reading it as well.
Oh - and a special thanks to Grabbie for watching the kiddos for us! We probably wouldn't have gone with all four - so THANKS!
We spent much of today at Lake Grapevine. The local branch of Henry Schein was having a huge picnic and asked Michael if we would come. The kids had a great time. There was a bounce house and a dunking booth. Michael took his turn in the dunking booth and Mason nailed him! It was awesome! (Although Kate didn't like it that people were getting HER daddy wet!) They charged $1 for two shots and they were donating all of the funds raised to Cook Children's Hospital. I thought that was really cool! I would love to share some of the pictures I took but I was having to use my 35mm. It's a long story but my digital is currently being repaired. It's actually a sore subject right now. I've already gone without it for 4 weeks only to get it returned from "repairs" in worse shape than when I sent it. It is in situations such as this that I really loose my cool! I have no patience for stupidity nor disrespect. To be totally honest, I actually thought that I wished I had saved my money from buying the warranty so that I would have no excuse for just buying a completely new camera. Can anyone relate?
