We survived the bad weather last night. Below is a few pictures of all the hail that the storm left behind. It was really bad for a while. We didn't fear tornadoes, but the hail was so bad that we were concerned that it might bust out a window. And since every room in our house has windows, we went into Michael's closet. Connor was the most freaked. He was holding his hands over his ears and kept saying, "The house is gonna break. The house is gonna break." And we suggested that he pray. He stated very simply, "Dear Jesus, please keep us safe during the storm." And after the storm finally passed, Connor jumped up and said, "Jesus saved us! Jesus saved us!" And then he said, "Mommy, Jesus reached His hand down and calmed the storm."
There is nothing more precious than the faith of a child!
This is picture of all the hail left at the front door.
This is a picture looking out toward the pool. Notice the pool furniture that was "tossed" behind the diving board!
