Anyway, we took our family to see WALL-E at the Studio Movie Grill on Friday. It's one of those theaters where they serve dinner during the movie. So, the family had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the movie. It is definitely the tree-huggin' hippie type. Truth be known, I enjoyed Kung Fu Panda more. :) However, the robots are humorous and everyone laughed hysterically throughout. These are some pictures of us in the theater...
This is Mason standing next to Toi and baby Tessa. Toi and I were commenting on how tall he has gotten. It was surprising to see him almost as tall as she is.
Baby Tessa pretty in pink. She is already getting too big too fast. She has started filling out and making some really cute expressions. Time just goes by too quickly when they're babies!
Here is Connor and Jack. After the game we headed to Fudruckers for some great burgers! The kids really enjoyed getting to hang out together. We are really going to miss them! And on that note, I know the Collins family would covet your prayers. Greg begins his new position in Houston on Monday. Although there will be times that Toi and the kiddos go with him, there will be many weeks where she and the children stay here at their home in Euless. Being a single mom can become a huge undertaking - especially with a newborn. So, please pray for her over the next several weeks. They also need to sale their home and don't currently have a buyer. (This would be a great time to mention that if you know anyone moving to the Grapevine/Euless area I know a beautiful new home for sale. They bought this home new and have been there less than 3 years.)
Saturday evening we had family over (Mom, Dad, Nannie, and Aunt Laurie. Grabbie stopped by too.) It was a great evening - but unfortunately I didn't take a single picture.
It's Sunday now. I've been busy all afternoon doing laundry. And I am happy to report that I already have all of the clothes set out to pack for all of the children. We don't leave until Wednesday morning but it is an early morning flight (6:45 to be exact). We have a full day on Tuesday with pedicure/nail appointments, hair appointments, and karate belt graduation. Monday we will be doing a lot of shopping buying food to take and all the last minute items. So, it was pretty important that I pack today.
For those of you who enjoyed my post Thursday, I would like you to know that I made some killer nachos tonight for dinner with all of the left over taco salad ingredients! They were yummy and everybody loved it. That's a meal that I don't do very often. However, I STILL have taco meat in the fridge!!! And suggestions?
I made not post again until after we are in Barbados. I will try to post some of the pictures as we take them. For those of you that saw the last Bachelor show, they took their last dates on Barbados and went to a zip line. Michael's family has arranged for us to go to the same zip line. I'm sure it will be great. Until then...God bless.
