AWESOME Weekend

I just got in from a weekend scrapbook retreat. We go yearly in July to the same retreat and this was our first time to go in the fall. In the summer there are 28 croppers. It's always fun, but a little loud and crowded at times. This time we stayed at the smaller cottage. There were only 7 of us. And it was AWESOME. Much more quiet and relaxing! Of course, there was the usual moments of hysteria. There's nothing like laughing till you cry with a group of friends. But we also spent some time talking about the various bible studies each of us is in and what God is teaching us. It was amazing to see how God can use a scrapbook weekend to speak to you and encourage you. Again, AWESOME.

Then to top it all off, I came home to a clean house!! Usually when I'm gone for a weekend I mentally prepare myself to come home to a trashed out house. Michael usually spends the entire time playing with the kids and they normally don't even think about cleaning up after themselves. But this time was different. Thank you Hubby! Combine the clean house with five smiling faces and ten open arms....double the pleasure of coming home!

Michael took the kids out shopping Saturday to buy everyone's costumes. I already had Ethan's, but he was the only one. But, now that's just one last thing I have to do this week.

HOWEVER, I think the underlying motivation for doing all of these sweet things was Michael's purchase of....ANOTHER bunny. Most of you know that I wasn't exactly thrilled...but what do 'ya do?...???...?????
