Connor had a great party at Pump It Up with his friends from school. (Seriously, this is probably one of the best parties we've ever had!) There was only 15, maybe 17 kids, so it wasn't overly crowded. It lasted about 1 1/2 hours, so it wasn't too long. And the kids were his classmates (or siblings) and I was amazed at how well all of them got along! They really enjoyed just hanging out and playing with one another! It was very enjoyable! And to see Connor so excited and having such a great time was....priceless. This is probably the first party that we have allowed him to make a majority of the decisions...where to have it, who to invite, what he wanted to eat, etc. It was obvious he enjoyed his company.
The party was followed by dinner at the Hibachi restaurant - one of Connor's favorite. (Yes, he actually eats something other than Chick-fil-A.) The child ate his entire plate of food and got what I didn't eat. Wow! How does he stay so skinny?
Hope you enjoy all of the pictures!
Here's the birthday boy
Kate is poking her head out of the bounce house
Granddad took Ethan down the slide and he loved it!
Addy and Mason were racing.....Mason lost.
Here are most of the party-goers. (It's hard to get a group pic when there are bounce houses nearby!)
Connor asked for a Wall-E cake. On the way to the party he explained that he wanted me to keep the Wall-E part. He didnt' want anyone eating it. I had to explain that Wall-E took up almost the entire cake and we most certainly would eat him.
This was the first year he was able to read his own cards. This one was made by Granda.
