Jeremiah 29: 11-14

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you."

Christmas Update

I know Christmas was almost two weeks ago. I haven't forgotten to post pics, I just haven't had a lot of extra time. We had some great family time the past two weeks....so enjoy the pics and hopefully I'll be better in '09 with bloggin'!

To begin, we have pictures from Christmas Eve. After attending our Christmas Eve candle light service, we came home (just the 6 of us) to open our gits under the tree.

We surprised Michael with a special gift...it's always fun to catch them off guard every once and a while!

The boys picked out a cross necklace for Kate...and she loved it!
It's always priceless to see your children squeel with excitement!

This is the scene we woke up to Christmas morning after Santa came..

Mason loved the new Guitar Hero band set. Our entire extended family enjoyed this all week long!

Ethan loves playing (actually beating) his new drums!

I will never understand the obsession with kids and umbrellas...but Kate played with hers so much that it is already broken. (What do ya do?)

After breakfast, we went to Granda and Granddaddy's house for Christmas lunch. Mason took his new Ripstick...

...and Kate and Connor took their new scooters. We all had a great time racing down the driveway!

After lunch and some outside play, we went in to open more gifts.

Granddaddy bought Kate some MORE dress up shoes.

Nanny and HC also came over. They gave Kate a piano with a MICROPHONE. We've had the privilege of hearing her sing DAILY. (Thank you Nanny!)

Our family's Christmas photo
On Friday, the following day, some more of our extended family came to town and we exchanged even more gifts.

Connor and Mason got new Nerf guns from Aunt Ruth

Obviously, they were a little excited! I'm still finding nerf darts all over the house!

Here is baby Michelle sportin' her Christmas overalls! Soo cute!

Aunt Sandra bought Kate an Easy Bake Oven ...with all the baking utensils and mixes. And thanks to Kate's Daddy, we HAD to open it that evening to make cookies for everyone...and it made a CRAZY mess!
