A Day in History

I type this as a I am watching the Inauguration. Although I did not vote for Mr. Obama, I will support him as my President. It is amazing to watch all of the events unfold. The fact that we will have the first African American President shows that our country has come a long way. I heard one of the commentators this morning comment that he will take oath of office this morning near the vary steps where many years ago slaves were sold. Please join me today in prayer for our new President, his wife, and two daughters. Although I might not have chosen him, God did. And I believe that through His sovreigntym great and mighty things will be to come. We MUST pray for wisdom, leadership, integrity, and Godly people to surround him with Godly advice.

(As a side note, it is somewhat humorous that on this Inauguration day my husband is taking the class to get his conceal and carry license)
