Jeremiah 29: 11-14

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you."

Fun Friday

It's been an interesting week here in "Rooney-land". I dealt with some kind of stomach virus for most of the week. Not fun, but it could have been much, much worse.

Monday I didn't get out of bed (Thank you Jesus, Michael was at home! All of the kiddos were home because Mason and Connor were out for MLK holiday.) Tuesday was better but I still had very little activity. I actually spent most of the day at my parent's house. We had men putting a new roof on our house (the previous roof needed replacement after a bad hail storm at the end of spring last year). Now, let me start by saying that I am grateful to have a new roof. And the company we worked with was great.....HOWEVER, I cannot tell you how incredibly annoying it is to hear dozens of hammers on your roof ALL DAY. Luckily my parent were out of town so me and Ethan just crashed at their pad. I just watched the Inauguration all day.

And......I worked on a scrapbook class. I'm so excited to be taking a digital online scrapbook class from Jessica Sprague. It's been so much fun and I'm learning so many tricks. I just love it! In fact, here's the first page :

I'll get a new project first part of next week and I can't wait!

The roofers finally finished Thursday! And today I finally got my booty back to the gym. Give a hand clap of praise. I've started going to a cycling class on Fridays. It kicks my tail, but it's such a great workout! I'm so thankful LifeTime came to Mansfield!

And the best part of my week came earlier today when I read Kelly's blog. After reading her blog, praying, and reading her Bible after many years, a lady accepted Christ as her Savior. Talk about give some praise! As Kelly stated, it makes everything they've gone through worth it. Lives. Changing Lives. And saving them. That's what it's all about. That's why we're here...to point others in His direction.
